Its been a year ... everything  has changed .... i remember the day in August 2012 when driving home together one evening you had said ...i feel our lives are going to change !!!  Little did i know that very soon they will change to this... with you moving on... seems you always had some intuitions , hope they continue ..wish you can yet feel them now, you know that we all miss you everyday, every minute , i know you are around and yet smiling at us ...telling me , " yaar sweetie  chinta mat kar " .... and yet, somethings don't change - our memories , our love and your place in my heart ...

Diwali today ...and i cannot help but remember 10 diwalis we have celebrated togather ....it will never be the same without you.

You are being missed each second , every day. Happy Diwali my dearest ...., wish you peace, joy  and happiness...may the lights shine bright where you are and may you continue to be around all of us , spreading your infectious smile and guiding us through our journey....miss you !

Our time together may not have been long but it was perfect because of you. You enriched my life and made it worthwhile for you were my best friend and a wonderful husband.

Even though you are not physically present , I know you continue to be by my side today …every day … I yet get my strength from your love and fond memories … Happy 11^th wedding anniversary darling !

There are some people you meet and your first thought and first feelings as you part after that first meeting are "What a thoroughly nice person this is." And many years later of knowing, that remains the thought, "what a good human being you are.  Genuinely good." These people whose goodness on their face matches completely with their goodness inside.  So special.  

Every time we connected - on phone, bbm, family functions, and the sadly few times we actually met up..., always my thought  was, " how nice and charming and caring he is.  How lucky Ruby is to have him for her husband. We should find more time to spend together. "   Neeraj - he would make the time - to smell the flowers.

IN this last year of his illness,  I have tried my best to make the time - to support Ruby and Nidhi and Nikki, to reach out to Rishit and Ishita, to make the trips to Mumbai to meet Dr Jalali, to guide, counsel, advise, to help procure the drugs needed, to help set up this memorial site, to be a good big sister. Small stuff - so easy to do cause of the work I do.  But I grew to love him and to love Ruby and the kiddos more than ever before. 

Neeraj, I promise you I will be there for you and your family...Rishit and Ishita are flowers in my garden.  I promise to  make the time for them.
